Police are searching for a man who robbed a Fort Worth Whataburger restaurant at knifepoint after several cards he tried to pay with were declined.
The incident occurred Friday morning at a Whataburger located on East Lancaster Drive. According to police, the suspect tried to complete his purchase using multiple cards, but all were declined.
Authorities said the man then stepped away from the counter before returning with a large knife. He struck the counter several times before grabbing the bag of food and fleeing the scene.
Police are urging anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to contact the Fort Worth Police Department.
