The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo is underway, and just like clock work, we're getting a taste of Stock Show Weather.
With overnight lows in the low 20s Monday morning and Tuesday morning, it is freezing here in Fort Worth outside Dicky's Arena where the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo kicked off over the weekend. We all joke about stock show weather, but for those who show animals out here, it's no laughing matter.
Cold temperatures are nothing new, and organizers said they were prepared for the chilly weather.
But even so, most people just take it in stride, just enjoy it, bundle up, and come home. Stock show's 23-day run continues through Feb. 2nd, so you can bet we're gonna see some warmer weather.
In fact, by Friday, we should be back up into the 60s at Dicky's Arena in Fort Worth.
