FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A warehouse fire in Fort Worth injured one firefighter Thursday night.

Fort Worth Fire were initially called to a dumpster fire on Cullen St., near Henderson and White Settlement Rd. northwest of downtown, about 10:30.

Other calls reported a neighboring warehouse had started burning, and the fire went to three alarms.

One firefighter was treated on scene and taken to a hospital for evaluation but is expected to be okay.

The building has six bays with roll-up doors. Using hand-and-power tools to cut through the locked doors to open them, firefighters then had access to aim streams of high-pressure water into the warehouse -- while others used high-angle hoses to douse the flames from above.

The warehouse is used to store pallet-loads of hand sanitizer which is mostly alcohol. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
