A Fort Worth woman is dead and her father is in the hospital after their car crashed into a Northwest school district bus yesterday.
The collision was just before 5 p.m. near Northwest High School on Old Blue Mound Road. A district spokeswoman says the driver was returning to the bus barn after completing the afternoon run, so no students were aboard.
The bus driver was not hurt. But Kimberly Canada and her father were trapped in the wreckage and she died at the scene.
Her father is reported to be in stable condition.
Police have not said what caused the crash.
