Four park guests were taken to the hospital Sunday night after an electrical malfunction on a ride a Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington.

Officials say the malfunction occurred inside the Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast ride around 6:30 p.m. when smoke was reported inside the building. All guests and employees were safely evacuated, one employee suffered a minor injury.

Both the Six Flags parks safety team and members of the Arlington Fire Department responded to the scene. The ride was closed for the rest of the evening as a precaution.
