Five shooting victims are recovering after being struck by gunfire in Dallas over the weekend.
Friday night, four teenagers and a pre-teen were wounded when someone in a car opened fire in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven at John West Road and La Prada, near the Dallas-Mesquite line.
The victims range in age from 12 to 17. They were taken to the hospital but their wounds were not believed to be life-threatening.
Crime scene technicians spent much of Friday night on-scene collecting evidence including numerous spent shell casings left littering the parking lot.
So far, detectives have not announced any arrests nor have they said why the victims were shot.
