Frisco Police say officers were involved in a shooting Thursday evening. Officers went to the 5400 block of Travis Drive about 6 p.m. to serve felony warrants.
The neighborhood is a gated community along Legacy Drive, north of Sam Rayburn Tollway. While police were trying to serve warrants, they say gunshots were fired.
The department has not said what led to the shooting or whether officers or a suspect shot first. Frisco Police did not say whether any suspects were hit but say no officers were hurt.
"This is an isolated incident, and no threat to the public exists," the department wrote in a statement.
Police remained at the scene into the night. Texas Rangers will lead the investigation.
