Later this morning mourners will gather for the funeral for longtime Dallas Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson in south Dallas.
The service will take place at the Concord Church in southern Dallas. It's the same church where a wake was held last night, attended by President Joe Biden.
The President flew to Love Field from South Carolina, landing about 45-minutes late.
Earlier in the day a viewing brought scores of Johnson's friends, colleagues, and admirers.
The services conclude tomorrow in Austin at the Texas State Cemetery with a graveside ceremony.
