The Gaylord Texan Resort is gearing up for another spectacular Christmas celebration. However, one staple will be missing this year.
The Gaylord Texan's iconic ice sculptures will not be featured in its Lone Star Christmas this year. The resort says on its website that this is due to current international travel restrictions, preventing its artisans from making their way to North Texas.
In their place is an all-new experience - Mission: Save Christmas! Guests will help Buddy the Elf muster enough Christmas cheer to help Santa's sleigh fly. Christmas Village is also returning, featuring indoor snow tubing, skating, and snowball throwing.
