FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD)- A child is recovering from a gunshot wound suffered during a rolling gunbattle in Fort Worth.
Last night, the girl was shot in the leg in the front yard of a home on Knox Street near Wichita Street. The girl's grandparent called 911 saying the girl had been shot.
She was taken to the hospital and her wound is not believed to be life-threatening.
Police learned that two cars were driving past the home and people in both cars were shooting at one another. One of those shots struck the girl.
The shooters have not been captured.
