Governor Abbott expects first distribution of COVID-19 vaccine to come week of Dec 12

New details from Governor Greg Abbott's office about the distribution of a COVID-19 vaccine.

According to the CDC -- the state will get 1-point-4 million doses this month, and they should begin arriving in Texas the week of December 14th.   According to the Governor's office it will be distributed to qualifying providers across the state who will administer the vaccine based on distribution principles developed by the state's Expert Vaccine Allocation Panel.

The state may get more later this month, and is expecting additional doses come January.
