It turns out a man who was thought to have died in a Grand Prairie car crash was actually shot to death while driving on I-30 on Sunday.
Police say they were called when a driver rear-ended a pick-up truck on I-30. When officers arrived, they discovered a man named Olman Rodriguez dead in the vehicle.
Investigators first believed he had died from injuries in the crash. But during the autopsy, it was discovered he had been shot.
Grand Prairie police don't know who did it. They say it looks like it may have been a case or road rage but that is not confirmed.
