A Johnson County woman has now been identified as the victim who was killed in a Grandview crash this week.
On Monday, a woman identified as Mary Louise Patterson was heading south on Highway 171 about mid-way between Grandview and Cleburne, according to DPS reports.
Investigators don't know why but she veered across the center line into on-coming traffic, slamming head-on into another vehicle.
Patterson was killed on impact. The other driver was hurt and was taken to a Fort Worth hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
