Two men are in the hospital and two others are behind bars this morning following shooting at a Grapevine convenience store Tuesday afternoon.

Just before 5 p.m. customers at the 7-Eleven store on Grapevine Mills Parkway ducked for cover as bullets started flying between two cars.

When the shooting stopped, the cars sped off, with one suspect driving an Altima going east toward Freeport Parkway and another suspect driving a Charger heading west, getting only a block or so before pulling into a Jack in the Box parking lot.

Police say somebody called 911 and quickly Grapevine police pulled into the Jack in the Box and found the driver and passenger in the Charger bleeding. Both were taken to the hospital, but one was treated and then taken to jail.

Meanwhile, the Altima ended up at the Shell station on the north side of DFW Airport where the driver asked a police officer for help because his friend was bleeding. That victim was also taken to the hospital while the driver was hauled to jail.

Back at the 7-Eleven, investigators found drugs. But they are not saying if a drug deal was going down when the shooting started.
