The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum is speaking out following the murders of two Israeli Embassy staffers in Washington.
In a statement, the museum said this act of anti-Semitic violence is a chilling reminder of the threats faced by Jewish communities and organizations worldwide.
A couple was coming out of an event in Washington when they were gunned down. The suspect later yelled "Free Palestine" when being placed under arrest.
The museum released a statement alongside several other Holocaust museums including Holocaust Museum Houston.
"We are devastated and heartbroken by the horrific and targeted murder of two Israeli Embassy staff members outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington D. C.," the statement read. "This is a moment to stand together and say: Enough."
The nine museums said in the statement that they hope the loss of the couple will strengthen our collective resolve to fight hated, apathy, and antisemitism in all its forms.
"May the memories of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim be for a blessing," the statement read.
