The TCU Horned Frogs now know their opponent in the opening round of the College World Series which begins Friday in Omaha.
TCU will meet Oral Roberts at 1 p.m. in the first game of the series. This is TCU's sixth trip to Omaha and its first since 2017.
The team leaves Fort Worth Wednesday afternoon and fans are invited to give them a send-off. The Fan Zone is the parking lot north of Lupton Stadium and west of the tennis courts. Parking is permitted in Lot 13 east of Lupton. The university says fans should arrive Wednesday by 12:15 p.m. and the team bus will depart at 12:45.
Meanwhile the Texas Longhorns will not be in this year's College World Series. Last night, Stanford beat Texas 7-6 in their deciding Super Regional game.
The Cardinals now makes its third consecutive trip to Omaha, meeting Wake Forest on Saturday.
