Hospitals in Dallas are reporting an increase in COVID cases.

Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council president and CEO Stephen Love says the number of people hospitalized with COVID has been going up steadily since November.

Health officials are seeing a lot of COVID and flu spreading across the country following all the holiday gatherings and travel, and the CDC is keeping a close eye on the surge.

Love says it appears some people are not keeping up with their COVID booster shots and that nationwide, at least 10,000 deaths have been blamed on COVID since November.
