ROANOKE (1080 KRLD)- One person has died in a house fire in Roanoke Friday.
Someone called 911 Friday morning to say their neighbor's house on Ashley Lane was on fire and told dispatchers within seconds it spread to much of the home. By the time firefighters got there the home was fully engulfed.
Crews from Keller, Southlake, Trophy Club, and Westlake Fire departments came to help put the fire out. As crews were fighting the fire they learned there may be a victim inside. Once the fire was out crews found the victim.
A 44-year-old man who lives there wasn't home at the time. The department's Victim Assistance team and the Red Cross are working to help him.
