This holiday season everyone could use this reminder: there are crooks out there watching you and waiting for your to get distracted in parking lots, malls, and grocery stores.
This week the McKinney Police department was made aware of two incidents where thieves distracted drivers out of their cars and then stole items from inside when they weren't looking.
It's just another reminder to keep your head on a swivel while you do your holiday shopping.
