There are Excessive Heat Warnings for North Texas Monday and Tuesday. So what about your hair? How can you protect it from the humidity?
Frizz happens when the level of humidity in the air is greater than the level of water in your hair even if you have very dry hair there's still some moisture there.
Humidity messes with hair fibers, turning some fibers into frizz! Hair stylists say hair spray and gel will help control frizz, or maybe try some essential oils to coat the hair, keeping extra moisture from getting in. A leave-in conditioner designed to fight frizz could also help.
You could also get a Keratin treatment, but that will cost you an average of 200 bucks treatment here in Texas.
If you're still drying your hair with a blow dryer make sure to use a low heat setting. You might also want to try a new hairstyle, maybe a braid or a twist. And of course, if all else fails, grab a hat!
