North Texas birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts can now catch a rare and majestic sight — a pair of bald eagles nesting near White Rock Lake — all from the comfort of home.

A YouTube channel called WRL Eagle TV is live-streaming footage of the bald eagle pair, Nick and Nora, and their eaglets. The stream, available during daylight hours, offers a glimpse into the daily life of the eagle family, including moments when the parents swoop in with fresh fish for their young.

The eagles have been nesting in the area for several years, though their journey hasn't been without setbacks. A storm destroyed their nest a couple of years ago, and last year, strong winds blew their eaglets out of the nest.

This year, however, things are going smoothly. One of the eaglets, named Luka, is growing steadily under the watchful care of Nick and Nora.

The livestream was set up by local wildlife enthusiast Bryna Thomson, who says she hopes the public gains a deeper appreciation for the natural beauty around Dallas.
