Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed two new bills into law designed to prevent rolling black-outs in the future. This is of course a result of the February winter storm.
Governor Abbott and state lawmakers will appoint some members to the board of ERCOT. Reforms also include to weatherize and improve the reliability of the state's power grid. So will any of this actually help prevent another crisis?
