A man has died after being struck in a hit-and-run in Richardson Sunday.
Police say Omar Hammet was from Huntsville. He was found lying partially in a lane of traffic on the northbound Central Expressway near Spring Valley. The vehicle that ran Hammet down just kept on going.
Richardson police are asking anyone who was driving on that stretch of Central a little before 2 a.m. Sunday to give them a call.
