It's now official, the City of Dallas and the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center confirmed as the home to the international broadcast center for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Several thousand media organizations are expected to work out of the convention center during the 2026 World Cup.
Mayor Eric Johnson was among those on hand for today's announcement. "The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center is going to serve as the nucleus of the media operations and showcase Dallas' vibrant culture and renowned hospitality to literally millions of viewers around the globe," Johnson added.
Dallas will also host 9 of the World Cup games including one semi-final match. That is more than any other city.
