The Keller City Council got blasted last night as residents spoke out in anger over a controversial arrest.
Last summer, a driver named Dillon Puente was pulled over for making what officers called "a wide turn." Soon, he was being arrested.
Just then, his father Marco who was following his son to a family gathering pulled up and began to video-tape the proceedings.
Soon, Marco Puente was also arrested and pepper sprayed.
The family has filed a federal lawsuit and last night Keller Police Chief Brad Fortune told residents he could not give many details because of the pending suit. But he did apologize, saying the incident "should never have happened."
Mayor Armin Mizani said he was disgusted when he saw the video of the arrest.
