There's another reason to visit Klyde Warren Park in Dallas. The new Nancy Best Fountain has opened after several months of work. It also features a giant splash pad for kids.

"We have this incredible, majestic fountain that has opened up. It's a 5,000 square foot splash pad that can accommodate hundreds of children at a time. We're super excited to be able to debut it for everybody to come enjoy," said Klyde Warren Park President Kit Sawers.

"It looks like the park itself. The structure of it is three stainless-steel trees that shoot water up in the air. Every evening, after sunset, there will be a performance with selected music...with the water choreographed to the music," Sawyers said. "It should be something fun that keeps guests coming back again and again."

Funding for the fountain and splash pad came from Klyde Warren Park board member Nancy Best and her husband Randy.
