There has been another grass fire reported with some local evacuations happening in North Texas this afternoon.
The Denton County Office of Emergency Management says the Krum Fire Department is working a fire in the area of Big Sky Trail and Jackson Rd.
While some homes in the area had been evacuated as a precaution, Denton County Emergency Management Director Eric Hutmacher says no homes are threatened. He points out that Denton County, like many other counties, is under a burn ban, so people doing any work outside that could produce a spark should be very careful.
Hutmacher says firefighters have "gained the upper hand" on the fire.
