A man is locked up on domestic violence charges after Lake Worth police rescued a woman Tuesday.
Investigators say the woman was being held against her will and was seriously injured when they found her at a Lake Worth hotel.
Using information from his own ankle monitor, police found and arrested Dewitt Guice whom police identify as a "habitual abuser." He was wearing an ankle monitor because he's out on bond from a Fort Worth arrest on a charge that he caused bodily injury to a family member.
Guice is back in jail now on charges of domestic assault and unlawful restraint. The victim is listed in stable condition.
