ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD)- For a second day in a row, a high school at Arlington ISD is placed on lockdown while police investigate a 'threatening phone call' that was later determined not to be credible.

Around 8:17 a.m. Tuesday, Lamar High School was placed on lockdown after a phone threat was made against the campus. Police immediately responded to investigate. At 8:49, the school district says police determined the threat to have been 'not credible' and lifted the lockdown.

On Monday, Arlington High School was placed on lockdown for a little over an hour while police also investigated a separate threatening phone call to the school around 1:34 p.m. That call was determined to be 'not credible' as well..

Lamar High School will be clearing that lockdown room-by-room and says 'everyone is safe.'
