CARROLLTON (1080 KRLD) - Three secondary school teachers in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD are on administrative leave after they used inappropriate language about Asian Americans on a social studies test.

The district didn't go into detail on the nature of the inappropriate language, only saying that it was derogatory and hurtful.

However, a woman who says her 6th grade sister took the test posted some of the material on her Twitter feed.

While the district did not identify which school this happened at, the woman who posted the offensive material on Twitter indicated that it happened at Blalack Middle School.

In a statement, the district says actions or language disrespecting any group are unacceptable and do not represent its core belief system.

It also says it will be enhancing its diversity training opportunities in an effort to create a more inclusive and respectful environment.
