Dallas realtor helping LGBTQIA+ community leave Texas amidst unwelcoming political climate

Citing the unwelcoming political climate in Texas many people in the LGBTQIA+ community are making plans to leave the state and realtors are helping.

A gay Dallas realtor named Bob McCranie has set up an online service called Flee Texas. It promises to help you sell your current home and connect you with an LGTBQIA+-friendly realtor in your desired location. He says their website has gotten over 500 hits a month but so far no homes have been sold. McCranie dismisses criticism that he is playing on peoples' fears.

LGBTQIA+ Advocates blasted Texas Republicans for adopting a platform at their recent convention labeling homosexuality as "an abnormal lifestyle choice” and opposing “all efforts to validate transgender identity.
