A man wanted for murder in East Texas has been tracked down nearly 2,000 miles away in Bangor, Maine.
The Harrison County Sheriff's Office has been looking for a suspect named Kristopher Ratcliff since July 4th when a man was gunned down in Ore City.
After witnesses reported seeing Ratcliff getting away, detectives got a warrant in his name. Yesterday, Ratcliff turned up in Maine where he was picked up on that warrant.
Harrison County is now working to have Ratcliff returned to Texas to face trial.
In addition to First Degree Murder, other charges for Ratcliff include Aggravated Kidnapping with Deadly Weapon and Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon.
