Nearly a month after the high-profile murder of a Dallas rapper, police have made an arrest.
On November 11th, the rapper named Mo3 ,his birth name was Melvin Noble, was gunned down as he ran for his life on I-35 near the Dallas Zoo.
Police circulated some photographs taken from video showing a man running down the freeway with a rifle in his hands.
Not long after those images were made public, somebody contacted Dallas police with a tip leading to the arrest of Kewon Dontrell White.
Wednesday, police produced an affidavit asking for an arrest warrant.
Last night, police announced White had been taken into federal custody on a charge of being a Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm. He'll also face a murder charge in Dallas but he has not yet gone before a judge on that.
