A man is behind bars after allegedly killing a man as he was delivering firewood to a home in Fort Worth.
According to the arrest warrant, as Scotty Jackson, 51, was delivering firewood to a home on Wendover Dr. in southwest Fort Worth, a naked man staying at a neighboring Airbnb picked up a piece of wood and hit Jackson several times.
The attack appeared to be unprovoked.
Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, identified as Chrisantus Omondi, 27, then holed himself up in his AirBNB and was uncooperative as police tried taking him into custody.
Officers had to use Tasers to subdue Omondi and arrest him.
Omondi is charged with murder, aggravated assault against a security officer and obstruction or retaliation and is in the Tarrant County Jail on bonds totaling $312,000.
