Man faces murder charge in connection to Frisco deadly shooting: police

Frisco police say they are trying to piece together what led to a deadly shooting early Wednesday at an apartment complex.

Just after 1 a.m. Wednesday, police were called to the Lucia Apartments on Grand Gate Way north of the Tollway.

Frisco police said when officers arrived they found a man lying in the parking garage with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police said they arrested 31-year-old Kenarri Johnson of Frisco in connection to the shooting. He was still on scene and faces a murder charge. His bond has been set at $250,000.

Police said Johnson knew the victim, but did not disclose a motive on Wednesday.
