A shooting victim's body is still at the Dallas County Medical Examiner's office where they are working to identify him.
Officials say the body was found shot over the weekend near the front gate of an East Oak Cliff apartment complex near Ledbetter and Bonnie View.
The victim died at the hospital but since he had no identification on him, he was taken to the Medical Examiner.
Detectives cannot say who shot the victim and they don't know why, either.
