Nearly a month after a woman was killed in a wrong-way crash in Carrollton, the accused driver has been captured.

Police say 19-year-old Brayan De La Rosa was arrested after a brief foot chase in Lewisville and he was booked into the Dallas County jail on Tuesday.

On the night of October 24th, Aurora Canales, a mother of eight, was killed when a car veered into oncoming traffic on Marsh Lane near Trinity Mills. She was killed and five of her children were hurt, but not critically.

Police believe that De La Rosa had been hiding out at a Lewisville apartment complex ever since. He's up on a dozen felony counts and also has an immigration hold against him.
