A 19-year-old woman is dead after being hit by a car in a Grand Prairie parking lot.
Police say a 50 year old man, who was driving a 2014 Toyota Camry, was backing out of a parking space at the 2300 block of Oak Lane when the vehicle accelerated out of control.
Reports say the car struck Diana Sandoval-Flores, and another woman.
They were both transported to a local hospital where Sandoval-Flores died. The other woman was treated and released.
The two had been standing outside a business when struck.
No word yet on if any charges will be forth coming.
