CLEBURNE (1080 KRLD) - A road rage shooting in Johnson County has landed one man in the hospital and another man behind bars.
Johnson County Sheriff Adam King says the incident started unfolding Tuesday night on FM 3048 north of Cleburne before ending on County Road 904 just west of the Chisholm Trail Parkway.
There, the two drivers got out and had a physical altercation in the roadway.
Sheriff King says as the victim was driving off, Cody Cantrell, 36, of Crowley fired four shots into the victim's vehicle, hitting him twice.
That man was taken to JPS Hospital; currently, there's no word on his condition.
Cantrell is being held in the Johnson County Jail on $100,000 bond.
It's unclear what led up to the fight.
