A man is dead after being hit by a train in Arlington Tuesday.
Police learned the victim was walking on the tracks between Front Street and Main Street through downtown.
The train had to be halted for the investigation which blocked several train crossings for about two hours.
Investigators don't yet know why the man was on the tracks.
