A man killed in Fort Worth on Labor Day has now been identified as Apolonia Aguilar Mata. Officials say Mata died in the emergency room at Huguley hospital Monday morning.
Police believe Mata was assaulted at a rodeo venue near I-20 and I-35. About an hour earlier, another man was shot in the leg during what investigators believe was a separate incident at the same venue. That victim survived.
No arrests have been announced in either case.
