Man locked up in Dallas accused of a South Oak Cliff murder

A man is now locked up in Dallas, accused in Monday's murder of a man at an address on Adelaide Drive near Lancaster Road in South Oak Cliff.

Dallas Police say they found a man named Edgar Johnson dead from gunfire and the Medical Examiner has now ruled it a homicide.

Detectives began looking for their prime suspect, Broderick Davenport, who has now been jailed in Dallas one count of murder.

Police have not said why Johnson was killed.
