A man is in a Fort Worth hospital after getting shot in the back late Thursday night.
Just before midnight a 9-1-1 caller told police a man had been shot at a home on Newark Avenue in southeast Fort Worth.
The man told police the gunshot wound in his back as an accident, but investigators say he's been elusive about the details. Like who did it. Or why.
Doctors say his wound is not life-threatening.
