A Kennedale man is dead after being shot Wednesday.
Police reports say Hayden Scarlato and another man were shot near a car wash at the intersection of Little Road and Treepoint Drive around 3 p.m.
Scarlato and the other man were rushed to Medical City Arlington where Scarlato was pronounced dead about an hour later. The other man's condition has not been released.
Kennedale police say the victims and the shooters know one another but they're not saying what is all about. The shooting scene is about a half-mile from Kennedale High School where Scarlato graduated.
Police were told the gunmen's car was heading down Treepoint which goes directly to the school so there was a brief lockdown until investigators determined there was no danger.
