Dallas Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in North Dallas.
Officers were called to a home near Farr Hills Lane and Knollwood around 7:45 last night after reports of a man threatening a woman with a knife.
Police say the woman was able to get away safely, and SWAT was called in as the situation escalated.
As officers approached the house, the man came out and was shot - though investigators are not saying yet what led to the gunfire.
Sources at the scene tell us the man has died, but police have not officially confirmed that.
The scene remained active for several hours overnight in the residential area just south of Spring Valley and west of Coit.
