DENTON (1080 KRLD)- A man wanted for causing an injury to a Forney police officer last month has been arrested in Denton.
Michael Luke Okwesa was wanted on multiple charges including car theft and an incident in which a Forney officer suffered a serious injury to his hand.
Okwesa has been on the run since August 23rd when police said he evaded arrest in Forney and escaped. But Thursday he was tracked down in Denton and taken into city jail until arrangements can be made to return him to Kaufman County for arraignment on several state jail felony counts.
