A wanted man has been captured in White Settlement where he was found while violating his parole out of Austin.
Austin Police say Trenton Ashworth was convicted on an Assault-Family Violence charge. White Settlement police had reason to believe Ashworth may have been seen on Saddle Road just east of Loop 820.
Driving down the street, they saw a man in a blue hoodie walking and stopped to speak with him. He identified himself as Trenton Ashworth.
When police told him about the parole violation warrant in his name, Ashworth dropped his backpack and took off running. One officer chased him for several blocks until another officer cut him off. At that point, the chase was over and Ashworth was booked into the Tarrant County jail.
