A Fort Worth woman has been accused of abusing a corpse, by throwing the ashes of her then-boyfriend's mother into Lake Worth two years ago.
Reports say Augustine Gladney could face up to a year in prison for the crime.
Fort Worth police say a man contacted them in 2020 saying when he returned to their home he found his mother's urn was gone. He said he had received a text from Gladney admitting what she had done.
Police have advised him to save all texts from Gladney as potential evidence.
