Dallas police are still hunting for a man wanted in the choking death of a victim named Anthony Carmichael who was taken to the hospital on August 30th.

Police say the victim died three days later so the charge will now be murder when police find the man they're looking for, a man who has now been identified as Jacob Carmichael.

Detectives have not said if the two men are related and if so how. Their ages are two years apart.

The night of the 30th, Anthony Carmichael was found unconscious at a Red Bird neighborhood address on Old Hickory Trail near I-20 and Wheatland.

Police say the man now identified as Jacob Carmichael choked the victim and then escaped before police arrived. A warrant in his name has been issued.
