The second man who kidnapped and sexually assaulted a 14-year-old Dallas girl learns his punishment.

Federal Judge Ed Kinkeade has sentenced 46-year-old Lukumond Olatunji in prison for 20 years followed by a lifetime term of supervised release, and ordered to register as a sex offender. He had pleaded guilty in August.

In October of 2021, Olatunji and Vincent Thompson of Dallas abducted a 14-year-old girl as she was walking home from school. They offered her a ride home and instead drove elsewhere.

Over the next few hours, the two sexually assaulted the child and even recorded one of the attacks on a cell phone with one of them providing commentary to the assault. They took the victim to a southern Dallas motel. After five hours of continued assault, she managed to escape with her backpack and shoes and call for help.

Olantunji and Thompson were still there when police arrived. They found condom wrappers and drug paraphernalia.

Thompson got the same 20-year term in October. During that sentencing, the prosecutor noted that the victim was intellectually disabled.
